The Buried City map in Arc Raiders is packed with atmospheric locations and memorable objectives, and the Communication Hideout quest is one of its standout missions. Centered around the ominous Red Tower in Old Town, this quest tasks you with  restoring power and activating a communication antenna. While it's a relatively straightforward objective, knowing exactly where to go and what to ARC Raiders Coins interact with  can save you time-and unnecessary risk.

The good news is that Communication Hideout does not require extraction to complete, making it an ideal quest to tackle with a free or low-risk loadout. There's no reason to bring expensive ARC Raiders Items unless you're planning to loot the surrounding area afterward. That said, the Red Tower POI is close to some valuable locations, including the Santa Maria houses, so more prepared raiders may find extra rewards nearby.

Reaching the Red Tower in Old Town

The Red Tower is located in the southern section of the Buried City, within the Old Town area. It's a tall, easily recognizable structure that stands out from the surrounding ruins, making it difficult to miss once you're nearby.

While the Red Tower area is generally considered safer than many other points of interest, it's not completely risk-free. Other raiders sometimes pass through the location, often checking for a Security Breach in a room beneath the tower. Because of this, it's wise to stay alert as you approach, even if you're running a minimal loadout.

Once you arrive at the base of the Red Tower, the quest will update and prompt you to locate a missing battery cell.

Finding the Missing Battery Cell

The missing battery cell is conveniently located just outside the Red Tower, so you won't need to search far. From the base of the tower, head to the east side, where you'll find a small structure sitting nearby.

On the ground next to this structure is an interactable box. When you interact with it, the box will drop a battery cell that you can pick up and carry. The battery cell is essential for powering the generator needed to activate the antenna, so make sure you don't drop it or wander too far with it.

Once you've secured the battery cell, your next objective is to install it in a nearby generator.

Installing the Battery Cell in the Generator

With the battery cell in hand, turn around and look in the opposite direction from the box. Only a few steps away, you'll spot a yellow generator unit.

Approach the generator and look for the glowing blue slot. This indicates where the battery cell needs to be installed. Interact with the generator to place the battery cell into the slot. Once the battery is correctly installed, the generator will be ready to cheap ARC Raiders Coins power on.
